Does anyone else feel like just yesterday we were planning our families’ summer trips, camps, and activities and suddenly…it’s August!?
Whether you have mixed feelings about your kids going back to school or are totally excited to return to a routine, we want to help you soak up the last of summer before the leaves change and the days get shorter!
Pok Pok’s newest update across Town, Radio, and Islands offers new additions for kids to explore tasty treats, tunes, and entertainment that captures the feeling of this magical season.
What’s new in the app?
- Islands gets it’s first update with a funfair, including a collection of classic rides, activities and refreshing snacks
- A street caravan is visiting Town! Behold dazzling street performances with new characters like a breakdancer, a fire-breather and many more
- Radio expands with brand new summer hits that’ll make you feel like you’re lounging at a California surf club
Plus tons of new learning opportunities!
How can kids learn from this update?
In addition to exercising fine motor skills, problem-solving and storytelling abilities, this update brings so many opportunities to see summer through fresh eyes and realize new potentials for the season.
Real-World Associations
This update presents new ways for kids to bridge the gap from the virtual to tangible, developing associations that broaden their world knowledge and understanding of cause and effect. For example, as they watch how the balloons in Pok Pok fly away into the sky, they might remember to hold on tight to their own balloon next time they get their hands on one!
New Possibilities
Regardless of how jam-packed your family’s summer has been, there’s bound to be something in this update that your kid has yet to discover. Perhaps they have never seen a street performer breathe fire? Or maybe they have never had a chance to experience a Ferris wheel!

We hope that it inspires you to go down an educational rabbit hole about how cotton-candy is actually made or that your kid attempts to introduce a third ball to their juggling routine. 😉
