Introducing Studio Pok Pok: Our New YouTube Channel!
A brand-new way to explore our world and learn through play!
Pok Pok has a new YouTube channel for kids! It’s called Studio Pok Pok, and it’s a completely unique experience that takes what families love about the app and puts it into video form.
The same imaginative, educational and often silly play that our digital toys offer has been captured in 3-6 minute long episodes that feel more like a real playdate than just another kids’ show.
The gentle voice of our co-founder, Esther, guides viewers on a journey through different themes each week. From automobiles and numbers to animals and music, we’ll be covering foundational knowledge for our little ones in the 2-8 range, using the topics they love the most!

Why YouTube?
We know many families use YouTube Kids because it’s an accessible platform with tons of options. However, these are also the reasons for wariness around its use. It’s so accessible and open that it can be hard to trust that the content you’re viewing is safe, or that the space itself is monitored with care. And because there are endless options, it can be overwhelming to find the right channels.
When we released the Pok Pok app in 2021, we wanted to be the app parents can feel good about handing over. Now, we have the same mission with Studio Pok Pok! Whether it becomes a Saturday morning ritual or a lifesaver in a long line up, we hope this gives you one more tool in your back pocket.
Of course, we still advocate for a balance of activities alongside screen time, and to balance passive screen time like videos, with more active forms like playing in the Pok Pok app. However, opting for less distracting and overstimulating media is one way to help families achieve this balance as kids find it easier to pivot away from!

What to expect from Studio Pok Pok:
On our channel, you’ll discover carefully crafted videos featuring:
- Stop-motion animation using real toys and everyday objects.
- Gentle narration and soothing, handmade audio (just like in the app)!
- Simple stories that spark imagination and inspire viewers to get creative.
- Nostalgic visual styles reminiscent of programming from our own childhoods.
- Short episodes that encourage mindful consumption, while also taking viewers on a journey.
- New ways of approaching play in the Pok Pok app!
