Copied!

Pok Pok is turning 4, and we’re inviting everyone to join the party!

We’re thrilled to share our brand-new Party Update, launching today to coincide with Pok Pok’s anniversary. Since releasing in May of 2021, we’ve celebrated a lot of things in the app…

From holidays like Halloween and Holi, to themes like diversity and sustainability, we continue to make Pok Pok both a mirror and window of our kids’ world. And while our toys and updates offer little ones a way to celebrate themselves, we want to take this one step further.

This update isn’t just a celebration of our journey together these past 4 years, it’s also designed to give your children new ways to express themselves, celebrate special moments, and develop important life skills through play!

What’s new in this update?

This is a major update that has been sprinkled across Radio, Town, Shops, Islands, Space, Dress-Up, House, and our new Pawn Maker toy! Here’s what you will find…

  • App-Wide Festivities: Decorations can be enjoyed throughout these 8 toys in the app. From balloons to bunting, treats and presents, celebration is in the air!
  • Festive Activities: Kids can now bake cakes, share presents with friends, gather together to dance, and more.
  • Dress the part: Thanks to our recent Pawn Maker toy, you can now personalize pawns with fun birthday hats and arrive to the party in style. These hats are hidden in special chests throughout the toy that will reveal the hat when tapped! Keep an eye out for mysterious boxes.
  • Birthday Singalong: Radio now includes 3 brand-new songs that kids can groove along to. No special occasion required!

What will kids work on?

This update offers little ones more opportunity to build real-world skills through pretend play.

  • Self-Awareness through celebrating themselves or something they’re proud of.
  • Develop Empathy by recognizing and celebrating others.
  • Enhance Creativity through decorating, storytelling, and imaginative play.
  • Practice Problem-Solving as they organize virtual celebrations and understand the cause & effect of the new items.
  • Strengthen Memory by recalling special occasions, moments, and remembering where to find things in the app.

Celebrating Our Journey Together

As we look back on another year of Pok Pok, we could not be more proud and grateful for the community you’ve helped us build. From telling friends about us, leaving reviews, sharing videos and feedback, your support has shaped Pok Pok into what it is today. And that is not only an app beyond our wildest dreams, but a more expansive world that goes far beyond the tablet.

In fact, we may have a few things up our sleeves that go beyond the Pok Pok app experience as you know it. We can’t wait to share more details with you soon but in the meantime, go hit the bouncy castle in House or groove at the beach party in Islands!

We can’t wait to see the creative ways your children play with this update. Don’t forget to tag us at @playpokpok if you post any on social media!

Here’s to another year of creativity, learning, and celebrating the things that mean the most to us in life.

Warmly, Team Pok Pok
