Busy Book Update: Space!
Shoot for the moon and reach for the stars!
Busy Book gets a much anticipated and highly requested update with Space! Filled with brand new illustrations and animations, including satellites, control centres, planets and even the ISS, this new update brings space to our players’ fingertips and inspires them to look beyond the stars! Gentle, hand recorded sound effects add to the experience of calm, self-guided discovery as players are introduced to a variety of new characters joining the already diverse and inclusive Busy Book family.
As astronaut Ron Garan once said, “Earth is just a small town with many neighbourhoods in a very big universe.” There’s so much in the cosmos to explore and we hope our newest update gives kids a glimpse of the fascinating mysteries of space, sparking wonder and excitement as they explore the possibilities that unfold when they reach for the stars.

Watch history unfold together with the Artemis 1 Launch!
Want a great activity to spark deeper conversations with your kids? Watch with wonder as NASA takes their first big step towards returning astronauts to the moon with the launch of Artemis 1!
On September 27th, Artemis 1, a rocket built to carry humans, will embark on an un-crewed test flight around the moon. The 37 day mission will see the craft travel a mind boggling 1.3 million miles to the moon and back and be the first in a series of complex missions to build a long-term human presence on the Moon. It’s a historic test run for Artemis II, which if the test is successful, will have people on board and could mark the first time since the Apollo program that humans have traveled so deep into our solar system.
Watch together as 8.8 million pounds of thrust fights gravity and propels this sleek SLS rocket and Orion space capsule into the heavens. Live event coverage will air on Space.com courtesy of NASA Television, the NASA mobile app, and the agency’s official website, with prelaunch activities to be streamed as well!
Curiosity and exploration are paramount to the human spirit and accepting the challenge of going deeper into space invites the world, and our families, to address fundamental questions about our place in the universe. The cosmos is within us. We are made of star stuff.
Happy exploring adventurers!
